In 1994, while still working as a software engineer, I started as a serious hobbyist woodworker. In 1994, while still working as a software engineer, I started as a serious hobbyist woodworker. I have made small furniture projects for my home, including end tables, mirror frames, lamps and mantel clocks. I also make craft items for friends and family such as jewelry boxes, candle lanterns and scroll sawn plaques.

In 2011 I started making handcrafted wood bookmarks with designs including animals and nature, coastal images, symbols, and States. My bookmarks are sold at independent bookstores in over 20 states throughout the U.S. I also sell the bookmarks on my Etsy online store and at local craft fairs.
