My name is Chuck Meriwether and I live in North Carolina. As a kid, I caught the woodworking bug from my Dad. In 1994, while still working as a software engineer, I started as a serious hobbyist woodworker. I have made small furniture projects for my home, including end tables, mirror frames, lamps and mantel clocks. I also make craft items for friends and family such as jewelry boxes, candle lanterns and scroll sawn plaques.
In 2011 I started crafting wood bookmarks and today these are my main focus. My bookmarks are sold at independent bookstores in 20 states throughout the U.S. I also sell the bookmarks on my Artfire online store, and at local craft fairs.
Check out this video outlining my process for making wood bookmarks.
